Ergonomic shapes for the new freestanding bathtub

The soft shapes and volumes of the original collection of Aquatech Kerasan are accentuated in the tub, designed by Massimiliano Cicconi for the historic company of Civita Castellana.
Result of research not only aesthetic, the tub Aquatech (170×70 cm) has one end wider than the other and high, a solution that follows the shape of the body, creating a welcoming and offers comfortable support. A natural teak shelf rests on the narrow side and serves as a practical oddments.

In one version the freestanding bathtub is made of Pietraluce, a special compound of hydrated alumina, titanium dioxide and polyester resin. The resin layer provides shine and features anticalcaree. Scratches or stains can be removed with a simple polishing paste.

On its glossy white, the Pietraluce is a suitable material to be used alongside ceramic sanitary fixtures.

Aquatech, in fact, also includes health ground and suspended, lavabo sospeso, and freestanding monolithic ceramic.
