The prestigious book brings together and relates the 100 extraordinary parctices best of the Italian way of telling design aesthetic qualities, formal and material exceptional. Quality of those companies who have made an economy of taste, aware of aesthetic sensibility and rich information to highlight a reference model absolutely Made in Italy.
Stories of men, companies, products has attracted the whole world by identifying Italy not only with the beautiful but with research, experience and fatigue: elements to the essence of a story to tell.
The DE MAJO is proud to be part of the 100 stories to tell through an exceptional protagonist: Tetra.
Tetra is a chandelier in black glass with arms in gray and black frame. The geometric figure is easier to develop the circle. In this regard, it is sufficient to determine a
center and a radius in order to obtain a perfectly circular. In this sense, the Murano chandelier is nothing but the "rotation" of a "ray", or of an arm of the chandelier to obtain a vicious.
Stretching properly and symmetrically some arms can also be obtained oval shapes. "With the chandelier Tetra we wanted to come to terms with an idea reminiscent of the mythical idea of squaring the cylinder that the ancients had proved impossible to determine."- explains arch. Roberto Absence who together with Francesco dei Rossi signature and adds the concept of Tetra:
"Much more trivially, almost a divertissement, We decided to make a chandelier of Murano tradition not in the "canonical" circular shape but a square. Hence the name, we discarded the most Tetragono choir and we opted for Tetra which indicates the four sides that define it. "Four becomes the number that generates the various models 4 lights, a 8, a 12, a 16 always a multiple of the number 4.
An extraordinary example of the reinterpretation of the classic Venetian chandelier in a contemporary, Tetra is designed to satisfy a variety of interior design styles: from minimal to refined. A history of innovation and success that continues to make Italy a unique country.
