From 1982 The German company has an office dedicated to the Italian market
In July 1982, just as the Italian team rose to the sky the Cup by winning the World Cup against Germany, near Turin flags of the two countries was flanked by another event: the inauguration of the Italian branch of the German company Hansgrohe.
In fact, the sale in Italy of the innovative company founded by Hans Grohe showers in 1901, starts from the 70s thanks to the enthusiasm and professionalism of soldiers Sergio, pioneered the inclusion of the brand on the Italian market.
With the 1982 Hansgrohe opens in Poirino (To) place of business. Thanks to a professional standard that has as continuous term of comparison the model of the German parent, Hansgrohe invoice until 10 billion in 1987 with 21 collaborators among agents and employees. In 1989 branch moves to more modern premises in Villanova d'Asti with an area of 1.100 sqm., 19 employees and a turnover of 19 miliardi di lire. Three years later, in 1992, Hansgrohe Italy increases the turnover of 25% reaching 30 milbillion lireThe 2001, as well as to mark a historic day for the company centennial, it is also a turning point for the Italian: the surface of the stock doubles and passes 2.500 mq. A year later founded the Italian Aquademie: a large training room and showroom of more than 300 Mq. Installers, designers and professionals are regularly hosted by the company for training courses dedicated to technological innovations, new products and in general “wellness”: culture of wellness.
From 2006 Maurizio Lunardi has replaced Sergio soldiers to the Directorate General of the Italian branch, after almost ten years of coaching as Area Manager North. He is assisted by Paul Bacchi as Director of Sales; Sergio Eyes driving the sales network in North Italy and Claudio Carosone for the South Central; Federico Gianotto, Financial Manager for Marketing and Giorgio Terzuolo.
Hansgrohe has also been certified as Well (Water Efficiency Label) as a leading brand for water saving. Among the 80 products that, now, have obtained this certification, appear in some of the great classics of the company in Schiltach: the showerhead ecological Crometta85Green that reduces the consumption bringing it to 6 l / m and mixers for washbasin lines Metris, Talis and Focus that thanks to the technology Ecosmart restrict the flow of water at 5 l / m without sacrificing comfort in the issue.
Thanks to ecological systems, Hansgrohe has received LEED ® certification, a certification system for sustainable buildings which considers the "energy efficiency, water management, the materials and the resources with which it has been built. Moreover, the Italian branch uses electricity “green” coming to the 30% renewable energy such as hydro, wind, solar and biomass. Hansgrohe has reached an agreement with EGL Italy, one of the first European companies to produce energy from renewable sources and certified European RECS (Renewable Energy Certificate System).
With the acquisition by Masco Corporation * at the end of 2002, Hansgrohe has continued a process of restructuring and expansion of the company from the parent to European locations.
From 2012 also the parent company Hansgrohe changed its corporate form: da Hansgrohe AG, a Hansgrohe UK (European society) thanks especially to the international growth of recent years.
