The table lamp Hanoi Prandina awarded to GrandesignEtico 2012

The lamp Hanoi Prandina Bassano lighting company has been awarded the International Award GrandesignEtico 2012, award for excellence in the design able to combine the technological evolution to environmental and social sustainability.

The award is the result of a constant Jury made up of designers, designers and representatives of companies that, the four sessions of contribution, held in two years 2011/2012, examined over 600 selecting the deserving companies for the Nomination.

The award now in its twelfth edition is sponsored by the Cultural Plana with the Patronage of the Lombardy Region and the Province of Milan.

Prandina lighting design work in the interior 1982 and is a member of ADI – Association for Industrial Design – from 2005. The company philosophy, the beginning, responds to a few essential criteria: simplicity and clean lines, functionality and lasting quality, that have allowed the brand to gain a recognized on the international market.

The table lamp Hanoi, designed by Frederick Churba is highlighted by a harmonious shape, refined and vaguely Oriental: a single sheet of white opal methacrylate buy three-dimensionality and volume thanks to the skillful cutting and bending, in an exchange between East and West, traditional and contemporary.
A lighting object that is characterized by its formal coherence defined in every detail and a luminous efficiency, soft and gentle as a gesture to greet dell'inchinarsi.
