FOLIO RUNTAL – THE LIGHTER BETWEEN THE RADIATORS

It is called “Folio” and is literally hanging on the wall of the new aluminum radiator and expanded graphite ofRuntal, brand design of the Zehnder Group.

Signed for the Swiss company by designers Perry King and Santiago Miranda (King-Miranda Milano) Runtal Folio is a single rectangular panel (with different sizes) often only 16mm.

Light par excellence in design, Runtal Folio is characterized by a special device for fixing to the wall that acts as a pivot allowing to remove the body of the radiator from the wall to facilitate the cleaning operations.
“We asked designers to work on lightness, to meet the needs of customers and distributors, over that for a matter of style” explains Paolo Masetti, Country Manager Zehnder Group in Italia “Hence the idea of ​​Folio, a heating element effective but at the same time able to live in any style and ambiance, with reduced impact to a minimum“.

The design element does not stop then to the panel with its rounded lines and the slightly curved surface, elegant and suitable for every decor, rather intervenes in the production process in which the slabs in lightweight expanded natural graphite are pressed together with the copper coil in a single structure honeycomb aluminum coated. A result that halves the weight of the element with respect to the use of steel, while increasing the thermal conduction.

Particular attention has been paid to the design of the junction box that hides the integrated valve letting out a small control unit below the radiator.
In electric version Folio instead,the adjustment device becomes an elegant remote control with LED display.

The lightweight radiator is available in three variants: Runtal Folio, Runtal Folio Belt (with one or two bars towel-) and Runtal Folio Corner.

Available sizes range from 115.6×43 cm a 195,6×74,4 cm according to the models.

In addition to the full range RAL colors (also made to order) There are two finishes in anodized aluminum (Natural and Black) and three versions with a thin and elegant wood veneer: Oak, the Macassar ebony wenge.
