Wienerberger examines the issue during a seminar organized in collaboration with technical update of the CNA of Bologna and the CLUB “Energy Excellence”

Energy saving and seismic safety: these will be the two main themes of the seminar "Systems brick for the thermal insulation of the”.
The meeting, promoted by Wienerberger in collaboration with the CNA in Bologna and the CLUB "Energy Excellence", will be held Thursday 6 December, from 17 all 19, at provincial headquarters of CNA Bologna in Viale Aldo Moro 22 (Room Gagliani).

The brick always represents a valid solution to contain the energy requirements of buildings, both in terms of heating in the winter season, and cooling in the summer. For this, has been invited to speak at the conference, l'Ing. Dario Mantovanelli, Marketing Manager Wienerberger Italy (leader in the production of bricks) to propose a specific focus on developments in the field of brick buildings.

They will therefore innovative solutions for energy efficient buildings (both in winter and summer), certification and energy solutions in seismic load-bearing masonry. Everything will be included in an analysis of the new European standard for energy efficiency in buildings (Dir.31/2010) and objectives for the 2020: Nearly Zero Energy Buildings to (NZEB).

Wienerberger will present to the public the innovative ground brick family Porotherm PLAN, products specifically designed to ensure the buildings sustainability characteristics, Energy Efficiency, security (also in terms of fire resistance), mechanical resistance and sound insulation according to high standards of performance (CasaClima, Leed), such as to ensure also the design of buildings to nearly Zero Energy (NZEB).
The meeting will be an opportunity to present the survey on earthquake safety carried out by ANDIL on real estate in the territory affected by the earthquake Emilia.
